Dan Schaefer is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of SW Group with more than 30 years of experience delivering multi-family, mixed-use, condominium, commercial, and luxury residential developments throughout the Twin Cities. He oversees the firm’s development and investment platform, including site acquisition, capital formation, entitlement strategy, construction, and project delivery. Over the course of his career, Dan has directed the development and construction of more than 4 million square feet of residential and commercial real estate. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Jake Wille is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of SW Group with more than 20 years of experience in residential and commercial development. His career is rooted in high-end custom construction and boutique residential communities, where he is known for hands-on leadership, strategic vision, and a strong commitment to quality. Jake helps guide development strategy, project acquisition, and partnership alliances for SW Group developments while overseeing projects from concept through completion. He has collaborated with nationally recognized architects and designers to deliver architecturally driven homes and communities throughout the Lake Minnetonka and Twin Cities markets.

Josh Ortmeier is Vice President of Construction at SW Group with more than 25 years of experience delivering multi-family, mixed-use, condominium, commercial, and luxury residential projects throughout the Twin Cities. He oversees multiple construction projects while leading the firm’s team of Project Managers and Field Supervisors, ensuring projects meet performance, safety, schedule, and budget objectives. Josh’s background spans both high-end custom homes and large-scale residential developments, allowing him to bring a versatile perspective to project delivery and construction leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Management with a minor in Organizational Communication from Metropolitan State University.

Andrew McGinnis is a Project Manager at SW Builders with experience delivering multi-family, mixed-use, and condominium developments. Andrew’s experience includes leading procurement and buyout efforts for large-scale multifamily developments and managing townhome construction projects in the Twin Cities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
